License-driven platform model
The customer receives one complete E4S application core. The License Authority determines which capabilities and limits are returned to that installation.

License states
| State | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Active | Normal licensed operation. |
| Grace | Temporary licensed operation during the configured grace policy. |
| Expired / inactive | Protected application areas can be locked until valid entitlement returns. |
| Revoked / suspended | Protected application access is restricted by the license gate. |
The License Center remains the customer-facing place to inspect, refresh or replace licensing information.
Offline lease
A signed entitlement can include an offline lease window. This permits the local installation to continue using the last valid signed policy for the allowed offline period instead of requiring an authority call for every user request.
